Terms of Use

Last updated: March 27, 2026

1. Agreement

By using Conflict Cards (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is offered as-is for casual entertainment.

2. No accounts

The Service does not require registration. You are identified only by a random id stored in your browser and a display name you choose for each room. You are responsible for names and behavior you use at the table.

3. How sessions work

  • Rooms are private spaces created by a host and shared by link or code.
  • Game rules follow the in-app description: rotating judge (“Card Bro”), black prompts, white answers, scoring.
  • Rooms can be closed by the Card Bro or become unavailable if everyone leaves or if the room is removed for inactivity.
  • Custom decks are uploaded by the host; hosts are responsible for having rights to the content they upload and for its suitability for their group.

4. Data after the session

The Service is designed so that we do not maintain a lasting record of you as a player once you leave and the room is gone or cleaned up. Player entries are removed when you leave or when the room ends; see the Privacy Policy for details on retention, tombstones, and hosting.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others, or to break applicable law
  • Attack or overload the infrastructure, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, or scrape the Service in a way that impairs it
  • Upload custom decks that contain malware, illegal content, or material you have no right to use

6. Intellectual property

The software, branding, and bundled deck data used by the Service are protected by applicable laws. The game is inspired by party card games in the CAH tradition; your own custom content remains yours, but you grant the infrastructure permission to store and display it only for the duration needed to run that room.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. CONTENT MAY BE MATURE OR OFFENSIVE DEPENDING ON DECKS AND PLAYERS — USE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Changes

We may modify these Terms or the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
